CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Last updated — 20th July 2026

I value both your time and mine. Last-minute cancellations, rescheduling, lateness, or no-shows have a real impact on a small, appointment-based business. This policy explains how changes to your booking affect your deposit and future appointments.

By booking, you agree to the terms below, in addition to the Booking & Deposit Policy.

1. Deposits and cancellations

  • All deposits are non-refundable, as set out in the Booking & Deposit Policy

  • This policy explains when your deposit may be transferred, and when it will be forfeited

2. Rescheduling

  • One transfer only — your deposit can be transferred once to a new appointment if you give at least 72 hours' notice and the new appointment is booked within 60 days of the original date

  • Less than 72 hours' notice — your deposit is forfeited and a new deposit is required to rebook

  • Multiple reschedules — any second or subsequent reschedule, even with more than 72 hours' notice, results in your deposit being forfeited and a new deposit required

3. Cancellations

With at least 72 hours' notice:

  • Your deposit remains non-refundable

  • You may transfer it once to a new appointment within 60 days, in line with Section 2

With less than 72 hours' notice:

  • Your deposit is forfeited

  • A new deposit is required to make another booking

4. No-shows

A no-show is when you don't attend and don't contact me before your scheduled start time.

  • Your deposit is forfeited in full

  • Future bookings may require full payment upfront, and are accepted at my discretion

5. Running late

Please arrive on time so we can complete your appointment safely and without rushing.

  • If you're running late, message or email me as soon as you can

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened to fit the remaining time while still being charged as booked, or cancelled with your deposit forfeited if it affects other bookings or the quality of your work

  • The decision to proceed, shorten, or cancel is at my discretion

6. Illness, emergencies and exceptional circumstances

Genuine emergencies and illness happen.

  • If you're unwell (including cold or flu symptoms), have a contagious condition, or have a genuine emergency, contact me as early as you can at finestlineperth@gmail.com

  • I may allow a one-time discretionary transfer of your deposit, even within 72 hours, if I believe the circumstances are genuine

  • I may request supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate, before making an exception

  • Discretionary exceptions aren't guaranteed and are assessed case by case

7. If I need to cancel

If I need to cancel or reschedule due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances:

  • I'll contact you as soon as possible using your provided details

  • Your deposit will be transferred to a new appointment time, or

  • If no suitable future appointment is possible, your deposit may be refunded

8. Contact
